The Northern California Championship is the second longest running Laser regatta in the world! The racing is on the northern side of Monterey Bay, off the Santa Cruz water front. This area is famous for its big breeze and big ocean waves making it a downwind surfing paradise.

This regatta also serves as the Area G qualifying event for the US Sailing O'Day Championship.
