| For the second week in a row the TI Laser fleet set a record for turnout
with 14 boats! There's 24 of us on the roster, let's see if we set a new record next again next week! Don't forget that next week is the next Svendsen's Super Thursday. They are providing the post race social libations. Last time they had a load of great giveaways for the crowd - it's definitely a don't miss evening! With 14 boats on the course we had some really tight competition and close mark roundings combined with lighter wind which meant a complete reshuffle in the standings compared to last week. It didn't take much of a mistake on the course to drop you back on the course and K.T. was the only one to get more than one bullet all night attesting to how tight the fleet is. David won the night with pretty consistent finishes after an untimely capsize in the last race took James out of the running. It was a great night of fun racing. You don't want to cut into your social time. ;-) Don't forget that next weekend (June 23-24) is the Summer Sailstice Regatta. Besides being a fun regatta it is a GREAT party and all the proceeds benefit TISC.
