We had another great turnout with 17 boats on the line and an awesome spread as social chairs. We're definitely in the running for the best Social Chair award this year. Thanks to Ralph for planning it and thanks to everyone for making it a success.
The racing was very close in the strong, shifty breeze that led to quite a few collisions, capsizes and spectacular pile ups at the marks. Since the competition is so close it looks like we need to dust off the rule books and have a few protests when needed -- three minute justice sounds way better than hours repairing crunched gelcoat. And I'm pretty sure the proper term is "Protest!" not "@!%# You!" There were some penalty turns out there (I know I did one set) but probably not enough.
Congrats to Mike ("Big Air Bishop") for dominating. Tiago, Mike, Drake & Kevin rounded out the top five. Kevin deserves special mention for his port tack of the fleet, unfortunately I didn't get a photo of that but I did get the wipe out later (too bad no one got a shot of mine given how many I took down with me!).
