The fire on the island didn't stop us from getting to TI although it made the traffic on the bridge a pain. We had a great night with shifty winds starting out light and building to a hiking strength breeze for the last two races. There was some pretty close racing and fleet was shaken up a little by the change in the wind but James dominated with consistent scores at the top.
Special thanks to Rob, our social chair for the night for his delicious home-made ciopinni. There was plenty of food and drink to go around.
We also had two new boat owners - Jim who had been chartering a boat all season is now the proud owner of his own boat. We also had the new owner of 191931, Steve Williams, joining us with his first time out in many years -- welcome to the fleet we hope it's just the first of many.
Don't forget next week is the last race of the season and is a Svendsen's Super Thursday! Expect an awesome blowout -- study up on your Svendsen's trivia!"
