| Another great night of sailing. Kerim was out for the first time this year and knock some of the rust off. Will up his game with a new sail. Racing was tight with Drake squeezing out a win with the next 3 boats hot on his heels. Conditions were the windiest we have seen them this year, with lots of puff and shift. Working the shifts up the middle seemed to work best. Social chairs did a nice job with plenty of goodies afterwards giving us plenty of time to discuss when to do penalty turns – when you infringe on a fellow competitor. “Protest” is not used instead of shouting profanities at the rule breaker, it is so the rule breaker has to do a penalty turn. Use it! Do your turns. |
