The night just keep getting better! To welcome James back from sunny Britain we had grey cold sky's with the breeze blowing around 7-17kts, lots of south in it, with a big lefty half way up the beat. Still plenty of shifts and gust to keep downwind sail exciting with lots of place changes. Mark was nipping at Marc transom all night. Mark had a few first to the windward mark, but couldn't hold Marc off on the downwind leg! (then there is the leeward mark, but that was one mark too far)
That said; its Marc last evening sailing with us next Thursday, so come on out and try and beat him, but more importantly say farewell to a fine sailor that has enriched our sailing.
Thanks to Super Jr for RC. He did a great job all on his own. And Kevin Sullivan for socialchair. He learned why its so much better to be a laser sailor. We helped him clean up as they were no V-15 sailors left... |
