Can someone tell those of us who weren't racing this weekend what the
story is. How much for the season and how much for the launch fee?
:: I'm planning to boycott the racing because I think this
:: will hurt the fleet - last year when they brought this
:: up in the middle of the season it scared away any new
:: Lasers. Among those of us at the Midwinters there seemed
:: to be some support for boycotting the first few nights
:: at least until TISC realizes this is a bad idea and
:: reverses course.
:: I look forward to the Thursday Night racing with you
:: guys all year round so I would hate to see that go away,
:: but I think that if we accept this launch fee the fleet
:: will slowly wither away from lack of new blood. While
:: TISC has been the best option for us up to now, it's not
:: our only option & I think we'll be able to find good
:: alternatives if we have to.
:: So if you agree that this launch fee is a bad idea for
:: the fleet then I encourage you join the boycott of the
:: first night racing. One way or the other I hope to be
:: out racing with you guys again real soon.
